How to Place an Order with Fungi Perfecti
Fungi Perfecti accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, checks and money orders for its products and services (please do not send cash). We also accept Bank Wires; click here for more on this method of payment. We accept Purchase Orders from Universities and Schools within the United States and Canada only. All other orders must be paid for in advance. Fungi Perfecti cannot reserve merchandise for customers in expectation of payment. Sorry, no CODs.
Fungi Perfecti takes orders via phone, fax and mail. Customers in the United States and Canada can place an order with Visa, Mastercard or American Express by calling us toll-free at 800 780 9126. We also accept credit card orders by phone at 360 426 9292 and by fax at 360 426 9377. We also offer secure online ordering with your Visa, Mastercard or American Express Card for customers in the United States. International customers should contact us via mail, phone, fax or email regarding quotations on merchandise and shipping.
If a credit card number provided for an order is declined, Fungi Perfecti will automatically re-submit the card for processing. If the card continues to be declined, we will attempt to contact you via phone, or via mail or email if a phone number is not available.
If you would like to place an order with Fungi Perfecti using a check or money order, feel free to give us a call toll-free at (800) 780 9126. A Customer Service representative can help you pick your purchases and calculate shipping. We will then provide you with an order number, good for thirty days. Simply mail in your payment with the order number written in the “memo” field or on a separate sheet of paper, and we’ll process and ship your order right away.

Money orders or cashier's checks are recommended. Personal checks may delay your order a few days, especially with large orders. US funds only. Checks returned to Fungi Perfecti for non-sufficient funds ("bounced" checks) will result in a $30.00 fee. The order will not be shipped until payment for both the original order and the $30.00 NSF fee is received.

Turnaround Times for Orders
Generally orders are shipped within three to five days. For our Priority #1 Service, we guarantee shipment within 24 hours for an additional service charge of $10.00, subject to availability of the merchandise being ordered. This service is only available for orders placed via phone. To receive this speedy handling, confirmation by phone must occur before placing your order. We guarantee your order will be shipped within 24 hours or the $10.00 fee will be promptly refunded. Orders that must arrive by the next day must be placed by no later than 11am Pacific Time so that we may process the transaction. Because of the large volumes of orders we are now processing and due to the urgency of some cultivator's needs, this policy has become mandatory. Please note that the Priority #1 Service does not, in itself, expedite the method of shipping.
Shipping
Most orders over three pounds being delivered within the continental United States are shipped via UPS Ground unless otherwise arranged. Most packages under three pounds are shipped via Priority Mail. UPS shipments require a physical address for delivery (no PO boxes, please). To eliminate possible returns, orders must be accompanied by a phone number. Orders can also be sent by Second or Next Day Shipping. Please contact us for costs and availability of merchandise.
International Orders
We ship to customers throughout the world every day, by a variety of shipping carriers and methods. Transit times will vary by geographical location and type of service requested. Packages of 10 lbs or less can often be shipped economically via United States Postal Air Mail, with a transit time of approximately 1-3 weeks depending on destination. Orders in excess of 10 lbs are often more economically shipped via Federal Express International (transit time approximately 3-10 days, depending on destination and/or customs delay) or by Surface Mail (transit time of approximately 1-3 months depending on destination). Orders for large items such as Autoclaves and Grow Rooms are shipped via independent Air or Ocean Freight carriers, depending on the total weight and dimensions of the merchandise. Rate quotations for shipping on large equipment orders are provided on a case-by-case basis, and are valid for 30 days from date of origin. All merchandise and shipping charges must be paid prior to shipment. Preferred methods of payment are Visa and Mastercard, Cashier's Check or International Bank Wire (please contact us regarding this method of payment). Mandatory Liability Release
I, the purchaser, by ordering items from Fungi Perfecti, LLC hereby release this company and its employees from all liability associated with the use of their products and services. I do so fully aware of the consequences thereof.
I agree not to represent their products and services to third parties without Fungi Perfecti's written consent.
I hereby take responsibility for the proper handling, use, location, safety and disposal of any and all chemical-related products contained herein.
I agree to abide by their stated policy that cultures and spawn supplied by Fungi Perfecti will not be used for generating more of the same for resale unless by written, contractual agreement. I agree to conduct sufficient "mini-trials" of any culture or spawn purchased for the commercial production of mushrooms to assess its suitability for this use, and release Fungi Perfecti of all liability regarding the suitability of their cultures and spawn for this use.
I am over the age of 18. I have read and understand this liability release and signify my agreement to these terms by the mere fact that I have elected to conduct business with Fungi Perfecti.

When you place an order for Fungi Perfecti's Pure Mushroom Grain Spawn or Cultures, you will be required to read and acknowledge a Sale Agreement prior to delivery. The text for these agreements is available for viewing online:
Returns Policy
Fungi Perfecti will replace defective merchandise free of charge, provided that we are notified of the return within ten business days from receipt of the order and the merchandise is returned to us immediately thereafter. Customers notifying Fungi Perfecti of a return should contact us via phone or fax whenever possible, or by mail if these options are not available. When notifying us of a return, please have your order number available to provide to a Customer Service representative (your order number will be upper left corner of the invoice included with your order, under your billing address). Merchandise returned after ten business days of receipt without prior notification may be subject to additional restocking or reshipping fees.
No replacements will be shipped until defective merchandise has been returned and evaluated for damage (typical turnaround time: 1-2 business days). Merchandise should be returned in its original container, with all accessories and documentation, and with sufficient protective packaging. Fungi Perfecti will not be responsible for damage incurred to returned merchandise in transit, so insuring expensive items is recommended. Please include a note with the merchandise, giving your full name, shipping address and phone number, order number, and reason(s) for return. Merchandise returned for reasons other than defects will be subject to a 4 percent restocking fee, provided that we are notified of the return within ten business days from receipt of the order and the merchandise is returned to us immediately thereafter. Customers notifying Fungi Perfecti of a return should contact us via phone or fax whenever possible, or by mail if these options are not available. When notifying us of a return, please have your order number available to provide to a Customer Service representative (your order number will be upper left corner of the invoice included with your order, under your billing address). Merchandise returned after ten business days of receipt without prior notification will be subject to a 25 percent restocking fee. When returning merchandise, please include a note giving your full name, mailing address and phone number, order number and reason(s) for return. Internet Privacy
Fungi Perfecti does not record or track the Internet identity of individuals visiting our Web site. Our Internet Service Provider does track the identity of the servers accessing our Page, and makes that information available to us. However, there is no way for us to determine from this information the email address or other identifying data of any individual Web surfer accessing our site. For instance: if you are an America Online subscriber and visit our site, our ISP will record that Fungi Perfecti Online was visited by aol.com, not (yourscreenname)@aol.com.
Fungi Perfecti's Online Store requires the customer to enter their name, address, telephone number and email address in order to purchase products online. This information will not be sold, rented or otherwise dispensed to any other individual, organization or company, except as noted below under "Mail Privacy."
Our Online Store relies on cookies, electronic "ID badges" sent by the server and placed on your computer. It is through cookies that we are able to provide customers with such amenities as order status and automatic form completion. Fungi Perfecti does not sell, rent or otherwise distribute contact information for our customers to any other parties, with the following exception: we will, on occasion, make a carefully delimited selection of addresses from our customer database available, for one-time use only, to individuals or organizations offering a service or event directly pertaining to the cultivation, collection or study of mushrooms. Said individuals/organizations are not permitted to retain or distribute the contact information given to them to any other parties under any circumstances.
